Kathy Hao began her professional journey over 30 years ago when she immigrated to the United States from China. As a single parent, she worked various jobs to support herself and her family. Simultaneously, Kathy Hao earned her Juris Doctor's Degree and a master’s degree in sociology.

A licensed practitioner in California, Washington, and federal courts, Ms. Hao has advocated for legal education and services since 2006. Kathy Hao extends her expertise through media platforms, providing weekly legal education and contributing to Chinese- and English-language TV and radio programs, as well as newspapers, and magazines.

An active member of the Angeles County Bar Association and American Bar Association, Ms. Hao has garnered several accolades, earning the title of Top Attorney by Pasadena Magazine. At the helm of TCW Global Legal Group, a law firm she founded over a decade ago, Ms. Hao manages three branches in Pasadena, Alhambra, and Seattle, specializing in complicated immigration cases, court appearances, and litigation. The firm also offers business and legal consultations.
